The Art Gallery of South Australia has a good collection of Australian and European paintings, although it is not quite up there with the galleries in Canberra or Melbourne.

Love how the art is uniquely organised based on themes not chronology, so you get to see how medieval and modern artists look at the same thing in different ways

The public gallery in both the House of Assembly and Legislative Council is open and free of charge to visitors when the Parliament is sitting. Check the website for dates
