    19세기 후반에 지어진 빅토리아 양식의 시청사로, 시드니의 상업과 금융의 중심부에 자리하고 있다. 시드니에서 생산된 건축자재들로만 지어진 것으로 알려졌으며, 타운 홀 앞 광장은 많은 시민들과 여행객들의 만남의 장소로 유명하다. 평소에는 입장이 불가하지만, 가이드 투어를 신청하면 내부 관람도 가능하다.

    駅名にもなっているように、タウンホール駅最寄り。19世紀に建てられた高い時計台が目印の重厚感のあるビクトリア調の市庁舎。現在も使用されています。ちょうど訪れた日時は玄関の少し中まで入って見学することができました。

    Come here for the tip-based walking tour of the city. Meet in btw the church and the town hall at 10.30am & 2.30pm daily. Very informative and would recommend this to anyone who don't mind walking!
