Augusta

Augusta is a small town near Cape Leeuwin at the southern extremity of the Margaret River region. It is close to some good beaches and can also be used as a base for exploring the Margaret River wine region.

There’s a jewel cave 8km north of the town that allows visitors and the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, at the tip of the peninsula where the Southern and Indian Oceans splash into each other, is also an interesting place to visit
