The Eyre Peninsula has some great surf beaches and good fishing and is a pleasant detour en route between Adelaide and Perth, and when you’re driving to the west coast an extra 300km shouldn’t make too much difference.
Although rarely visited by backpackers, this region on the edge of the Nullarbor Plain has a lot to offer the travellers including spectacular white sand dunes, wildlife as well as whale watching and exceptional fishing.
