The Great Ocean Road is the most scenic route from Melbourne to Adelaide. It hugs the coastline from Torquay to Peterborough with a brief diversion through the Otway Ranges and connects with the Princes Highway near Warrnambool, which continues onwards toward Adelaide.

Although the entire Great Ocean Road is a scenic drive, the most breathtaking scenery along this route is found around Port Campbell. This includes some spectacular rock formations such as London Bridge and the Twelve Apostles.
