Nowra

Nowra is the biggest city on the NSW coast south of Wollongong. It is an ugly place with the town centre cut in half by a multi-lane highway, but it does have the best shopping on the south coast and some travellers stop in Nowra to stock up on supplies before exploring the surrounding region, which includes the glistening white sand beaches at nearby Jervis Bay as well as the pretty towns of Berry and Kangaroo Valley.
