There are daily coaches to Perth although it is best to have a car to explore the area around Margaret River. Transwa coaches stop on Charles West Road near the visitor information centre.

Albany coach stop
If you’re not driving, Transwa coach services are the best way to get to Albany even though the services are fairly infrequent.
Transwa coaches stop outside the old train station and visitor information centre on Proudlove Parade and run from here to Esperance and Perth via Bunbury, Margaret River and other destinations in the southwest.
Denmark coach stop

Esperance coach stop
Although the coach service is infrequent it is the best way to get in and out of Esperance if you’re not driving. Transwa run coaches to Albany, Kalgoorlie and Perth and stop on Dempster Street.
Norseman coach stop
Transwa coaches go to Esperance and Kalgoorlie and stop at the BP roadhouse at the corner of Eyre Highway and Coolgardie–Esperance Road.
Kalgoorlie-Boulder Airport (KGI)
Both Virgin Australia and Qantas have flights from Kalgoorlie-Boulder Airport (KGI) to Perth and Virgin Australia also fly to Melbourne. The airport is about a five-minute drive from the centre of town and either hostel should be able to pick you up if you have made a reservation.
