There are daily V/line coaches from Beechworth to Bright and Wangaratta, where you can catch a train to Melbourne or Sydney. Coaches stop near the corner of Camp and Ford Streets.

Axel Stenross Maritime Museum
This maritime museum is in the boat building workshop established by the Finnish boat builder, Axel Stenross. It features nautical exhibits with an emphasis on windjammer sailing boats.
Swimming with sealions
Adventure Bay Charters and Calypso Star Charters run unique tours that give you the opportunity to swim with sealions.
Sealion tours involve a 1½ hour cruise to Hopkins Island where you can swim with sealions. On the way back the tour stops at the tuna farm where you can swim with the tuna. Sealion tours cost $195.

Bendigo Art Gallery dates from 1887 and features a collection of local and national art. The museum is noted for its programme of temporary exhibitions.
Bendigo Joss House Temple
This temple was built in the 1860s by Chinese miners and is regional Victoria’s only surviving joss house.
Central Deborah Gold Mine
Central Deborah Gold Mine closed in 1954 and was re-opened for tourists in 1972. The Central Deborah Goldmine has been restored both above and below ground and is a great insight into how gold is mined.
