Try the guided tours (small groups) as it is well worth the cost and the extra access you get

Really is a sanctuary. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. The bird exhibit & talk is great!

We spent 5 hours here, and still didn't get to see everything! Go early in the morning to book the experiences and also see all the free shows (most are in the morning)

Absolutely pay to feed the kangaroos. It's worth every dollar and such an awesome experience for non-aussies

Birds of prey show is worth scheduling for. Spend some time with the wombat. It's pretty touristy but fun if you're out there for the wineries.

This is probably the first zoo that I didn't find depressing. Great animal and environmental programmes in place here but also a genuine focus on indigenous culture and history.

Bird of prey show is very good. Not as many animals as zoo in sydney, but all well kept and nice atmosphere :)

Platypus show was great. Consider the take home messages seriously. Plus, $12 for a close encounter with a type of animal.
