Watch the Apology in the Gallery of the First Australians. Not a dry eye in the house.

Nice museum. Allow a couple of hours. But why no mention of Brisbane throughout the displays?!

The First Australians exhibit is definitely a highlight. Don't let the construction in the middle keep you from seeing it.

Finished looking around the collection, if you're bringing your kids, bring them to build rocket ship memorabilia...

Buy Australian Made: avoid the gift shop. Full of Chinese tat. They even have a baby onesie with Made in Australia emblazoned on the front. Made in China of course.
