Avon Valley

You are here: Home  > Western Australia  > Avon Valley

This picturesque region east of Perth is one of Western Australia’s first inland regions to be settled. It has some quaint little towns that make a nice daytrip from Perth, which is just a one-hour drive away.

The most visited towns in the valley are Toodyay and York, which are both full of character. There’s also the Avon Valley National Park. The 4800 ha park is good for hiking and watching wildlife, and it is possible to camp here as well. The park is open 8am-5pm daily.
