Busselton

Busselton is a relatively big town of 20,000 people, founded in 1832 by the Bussells, a family of English migrants who arrived in Western Australia to find that all of the good farm land around Perth and Fremantle was taken.

Today Busselton is a popular resort for families from Perth. It boasts good beaches and snorkelling from the 2km-long jetty. It also makes a good base for exploring the wineries of the Margaret River wine region.
