Longreach

This small outback town is considered the major town in central Queensland and considering its diminutive population, Longreach has a couple of impressive attractions including the Qantas Founders Museum and the Stockman’s Hall of Fame.

Longreach was the original home of Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Service (now known as Qantas), and the company was headquartered here until 1930.
