Pilbara

The Pilbara region is often associated with mining towns and is seldom visited by travellers. The main highway passes through the coastal region that includes the towns set up to service the mining region further inland and many travellers who are driving up the coast make a detour inland to see the incredible gorges at Karijini National Park.
