Mirima (Hidden Valley) National Park
This small national park is only 2km from the centre of Kununurra and it offers similar features to the Bungle Bungles. Most travellers visit the park early in the morning before it gets too hot. It is a small park and two to three hours is sufficient time even if you walk every trail in the park.

Geikie Gorge National Park
Geikie Gorge National Park is around 17km north of Fitzroy Crossing and is worth a detour if you’re driving between Darwin and Broome, although it’s otherwise a bit difficult to get to if you’re travelling by coach.
The best way to explore the gorge is to take one of the cruises on the river, although there are also some good walks along the gorge and elsewhere in the national park. The gorge features some nice picnic and barbecue sites and is home to plenty of freshwater crocodiles.

Sun Pictures Outdoor Cinema
The world’s oldest outdoor cinema is right in the centre of Broome’s Chinatown and has a brilliant atmosphere under the stars on a balmy tropical night. Seating at Sun Pictures is on deck chairs with most seating outdoors.
Pearl Luggers
This attraction features exhibits on Broome’s pearling history including a couple of restored boats. Rather than walk around at your own pace, visitors are given a tour by a pearl diver.
Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Farm
This crocodile farm, a 15-minute drive from Broome, gives you the opportunity to see some really big crocodiles. It is best to visit in time for the 3pm crocodile feeding tour.
