Broome’s main attraction is this pristine 22km long beach. There are several companies including Broome Camel Safaris, Red Sun Camels and Ships of the Desert and that offer camel rides along the beach.

V/line trains connect Swan Hill with Bendigo and Melbourne and coaches go to Mildura. Both coaches and trains leave from the station on Curlewis Street.

This maritime museum features the HMAS Whyalla, Australia’s largest permanently landlocked ship, which was the first ship to be built at the Whyalla shipyards. The museum has exhibits of the city’s ship building industry and the WWII warships that were constructed here.
